Default AN wrench alternative??

anyone have a good alternative to using an AN wrench for tightening AN fittings?? I hate to spend 75 bucks and wait a week for a set of wrenches to arrive that will see minimal use at most.

Thanks for the help

Was I not supposed to use my big adjustable wrench on mine?

I had some -10 fittings that my 24mm wrench wouldn't fit on.

hey if it worked, Im certainly game.....this is the first time Ive used anything with actual AN fittings and I had heard you can chew up the fittings pretty good with a normal steel wrench. I actually thought about buying a can of that plasti-dip crap and doing the end of the wrench just for this project and then peeling it off

Put some tape on them and be careful. Us the broadest wrench you have even if that is a large adjustable. It works but I ended up buying a set of the aluminum AN wrenches.

A good smooth tooth adjustable wrench and masking tape on the jaws will get the job done.

You don't need special tools for it, Just be careful not to scratch the fittings.

Don't over tighten these fittings if your using an adjustable wrench, you will make the nut go oval and it will be toast!
No reason to buy an AN set if you don't do it regularly.
