I installed ACA headlights with HID's. I've read Patches' thread backward and forward but I still have an unanswered question: Exactly WHERE do all of the connectors in the two supplied wiring harnesses connect? I've tried all sorts of combinations and one result gave me high beams in the low beam switch position and low beams in the high beam switch position. Everything else I tried gave me high beams only and headlights retracting ONLY from the high beam switch position. I'm running out of patience! hELP!

The connectors that plug into the ballast often need to be reversed and plugged in backwards to allow these to work as they are wired backwards. My originals did not work this way which is why I don't have that documented in that thread. Give it a shot and see if that's your problem first.

I tried that. No improvement. My problem is that I have around five or six connectors at each headlight assembly, and no clue as to which connects where! The only connections I'm positive that I have right are the positive and negative battery connections, and the high voltage HID connections. I also assume that the green wire from the relay goes to the green wire from the harness that tuns both lights when high beams are on.
Which connector connects to the high beams?
Which connector connects to the ballast?

When I installed my ACA lights with HID's I never used the wiring that came with the lights and have no issues.

Which connector connects to the high beams?
Which connector connects to the ballast?
From your OEM headlight harness there are 2 headlight connectors. The high beam has green/black wires and the low beam has tan(or brown) and black wires.

Connect the low beam to the ballast.

That's what I tried first, but I had the issue of headlights not lowering unless I was on high beam. Others posted that the relay harnesses cure that problem, so that's what I'm trying. I'd have no problem switching to high beams to lower the lights, but my wife is a whole differeent story, and it's HER car!
