Wagon Wheel HATERS
I personally find it offensive to have the same people bash guys like me that own 98-99 Vette's with Stock wheels.. Personally, I wouldn't put Zo6 wheels on my car if they were a gift! I bought this to be as original as possible.. I've been "spanked" by the Mod's for making less negative remarks about a few additions on other cars posted and I feel all of us that choose to keep the original Wagon Wheels on our cars be treated with just a bit more respect. 
Anyone that feels this is an ugly Corvette, should be driving a 71 Vega.. Mine has 18k miles on it and I enjoy it every time I get behind the wheel.. Flame on haters! 
This car has never seen rain, snow, or even so much as a puddle.. It's just how I LIKE IT. As clean under as is above and I plan to keep it that way as long as I own it. I bought a 79 to be my DD and it's also been bashed for being dark blue.. Enough said, except we are all Vette owners and should show respect to all the Vette Brothers out there.. Some guys work their entire life to buy that one special Corvette only to get some putz to come along and say how bad it looks.. That, in my opinion is a comment by someone with no integrity whatsoever...

To each his own I feel. Nothing wrong with the Wagon Wheels if you happen to like them. Purchased my C5 a year ago. Also a low mileage C5 w/36k on the odometer. Love the car but didn't like the wagons myself not because I found out later most C5 people didn't care for them. Thought the Chrome Thin Spokes would look better on my '99 Coupe. So I made the change 2 months later and the look to me is much, much better I feel but then again that is just my opinion.

I really like the wagon wheels! Its all personal preference and nobody should be bashing anyone based on personal preference.
Oh, and I completely agree with you on originality. I like cars completely stock too.

40 years from now wagon wheels be sought after by the NCRS guys.
I loved my 98 with them and had them chromed and on a black Vette they looked great.
Your Vette is in the minority for sure, a bone stock C5.

Wow you have a complex. Wagon wheels arent really very attractive but dont dis on everyone else because they don't like them. I have a 1997 and definately would not want the stock wheels. It is good you like your car just as it is but as they say - wheels make the car.

For me persoanlly, I actually DID NOT drive my car after I bought it until I changed them for chrome Z06s. I just hated how they looked on the car
