Default Tire question

I currently have the oem GY runflats on. I know they are designed for summer use, but I plan on using the car all year round except for snow and ice. Current tires have very low mileage on them, 13k, and are in great shape. They are the second set of tires on the car.

curious what others experience might be that use their vette's in the winter with the Good Year run flats.

thanks

I have driven my cars in the winter on the OEM Goodyears - just take it a lot slower than you normally would in the summer. I was able to get around just fine, but when the temps went down, you did the traction. Step on the gas too much and you'll be in for a wild ride.

I drive mine in the winter with runflats and they cause no ral problem. Of course I don't drive it in the ice and snow or wet for that matter.

Good to hear there are folks still running the Eagle F1 EMT.

If you have to drive in below 30° temps, summer tires do get a bit slippery. In FL that's not too much of a problem.
