Default Engine compartment fuse box question

Anyone know the nut size that is used on the positive battery connection point located on the under hood fuse panel box?

thanks

Thanks for the replies. Assuming that the 10mm or 13mm is the nuts wrench or socket size, any ideas as to what the proper "thread pitch, or if its a fine, medium, or course thread?

Did you lose the nut? If the head is 13mm then it's probably M8x1.25

The one on my 98 is 13mm. I didn't lose it. Installing a battery tender tender cable on my friends C6 and planned on just bolting it down on top of the one attaching the 12v cables. Did it on his previous C6 but he sold that off and forgot to disconnect the battery tender cable. The C6 size was the same as my 98's. Thanks for the info, its a good start.

This is a curious post. Unless you have no wrench's and no sockets, couldn't you just walk back and fourth to the tool box a couple of times to find a tool that fits?

This makes sense only if you're off to the store to buy one wrench or one socket and want to get it right on the first trip.

Maybe it's just me; and it is Monday morning. Sorry...

It's just Monday.

Complicated, been on the road for a couple of weeks, no access to my car or tools until early this morning.

Both will be referred to as course pitch so,

M6 x 1.0mm: 10mm Spanner/socket
M8 x 1.25mm: 13mm Spanner/socket

I did that too, added a battery tender, but I designed it into my battery cover and made a hole so you can see the tender when you plug it in (the status LED that is). I'll take some pic's and add to this tomorrow. Think it look pretty good.
