I need to replace the tires on my 2000 conv. It has run flats on it now, I wanted to replace then with a regular tire. What brand would you guys suggest, brand and style.

Michelin PS2s are good. However, I went with Hankook Ventus V12 EVO tires - so far about 1K miles on them and they are a good tire with a very reasonable price. Got them at Discount Tire Direct.

Michellin Pilot Sport AS Plus, awesome tires.
Will buy again, money permitting, they are not cheap but when it comes to tires I have always believed you get what you pay for, cheaper tires seem to attract more nails if you ask me--softer?--Dont know why.
I buy BFG for my truck because they are really good too.
I will probably buy Michellin tires for my wife's Honda car when they are needed.
Nitto NT-05 are sticky, predictable at limit, and warms up quickly and i think last quite a bit.
Alot of people who go to the track uses NT-05 such as (Sti, 996 turbo,Vettes, Supras, etc).
Look them up and youll find many positive reviews!
I am using NT05s on my car and love them. ( It was actually the cheapest choice in the same size and have put down 11000 miles on the street and have more than half of thread left)
Nitto Invos are quiter and smooter than NT05s but NT05s def has more grip
I have a friend who owns a tire store and he recommended the PS 2's. I just put mine on this past week and haven't really had a chance to put them to the test. They aren't cheap.
Michelin PS2 are the best out there but they are expensive
Hankook V12 are a good tire reasonably priced but have been on back order recently.
I went with Continental Extreme Contact DW they were highly rated and only a few dollars more.

Do they make them for our cars in matching speed ratings now?
I had the Bridgestone 960s for 3 1/2 years and liked them. I switched to the 760s and was disappointed. I just got the Continental Extreme Contact from Tire Rack yesterday (ordered Thursday and had them less than 24 hours later without ordering accelerated shipping.)
Prepare for a great improvement in ride quality and noise level, no matter what tire you decide upon. I bought BF Goodrich g-force Super Sport A/S, no real complaints and they were only about $600 at the time via Tire Rack. I believe that tire is now available in a higher-performance version but know nothing about it
