Default No'mo 4X4 fo'me!

Finally had a small break and got around to lowering my 02 Z on factory bolts.

jacked up the rear and backed out the nut on factory bolt to 1.5 threads left showing.

next

Jacked up the front, turned the wheel to the left and got driver's side bolt, turned the wheels right and got the passenger's side bolt.

lowered and went for a small cruise to to a local car meet and the car looks amazing. Way better than the 4x4 stock look.

Amazingly enough the car drives better than before. I thought it was going to be a horrible rough ride that I was going to have to deal with because I wanted the lowered look, but nothing like that at all.

It looks great and handles great, now drive it for a while and then get an alignment.

Definitely, and its free til you get the alingnment.

In the next week I will need to take measurements to make sure the car sits even.

Giving it a week to settle a bit more.

I was real suprise at the amount of wheel well gap I was able to eliminate on stock bolts.

That is plenty enough for me, I would not feel comfortable it the car sat any lower, although I do like the more lowered look on many of the cars here on the forum.

Same here man this is as low as I want my car to sit, I would have had serious issues in the past if my car was any lower. Especially with the way the roads are in H-Town yikes, I defiantly feel ya on that one.
