Default C5 trolley affect

My car seems to want to follow the ruts more these days. What would be wearing to cause this? Also how offten should I change shocks. 100k on same shocks.

I think the term is "tramlining". Outer tie rods may be one reason. Also some tires are worse than others.

Ahh! Trammeling. Outer tie rods. Forgot to say it's a 2001. Feels like something is moving for sure when there is pavement change or rut in road. Just can't put my finger on it. I will have them checked.
Thanks

Mine used to do it with the OEM runflat tires. Once I changed over to Hankook V12's, the problem went away. The runflats will cause a lot of tramlining especially once they get worn.

The fix for me was.....changing from "run-flats" to "normal" tires.

I had the same experience. When I replaced the runflats with non-runflats the problem went away and it felt like a different car!

Well I replaced the run flats long ago. I have goodyear eagle F1 GS tires. About half wear on tread.
