Don't you just hate it when you have the perfect photo op and you're stuck with a not so great camera. My wife and i took a week off and went to Inks Lake State Park here in Texas, about 60 miles west of Austin. We rented a cabin there. One morning when i got up there was an incredible sun rise. I grabbed her camera to take some pics. Well they were pretty disapointing to say the least. This was the only one worth saving. Anyway, if any of you guys ever get a chance to get up that way, make sure you take a drive down 29 between Burnet and Buchanan Dam. It's a great four lane black-topped road (2 lanes each way). It' 9 miles of hills and big sweeping turns. It's the most fun i've ever had driving the car. Oh yeah, the pic.

Pictures, Photos, always tell a story, There is much more than exposure, shutter speed, aperture to a photograph... This Photo is a transformer.. it tells a story.. its an early morning shot with the sun light yet to set on your car... the rainbows of sun beams are almost heaven like.. you captured an overwhelming photograph. with perfect exposure, shutter speed and aperture. You can't ask for much more.. Nice work

Next time your up this way follow park road 4 to 281 south and come in on 1431 east. That is the best road in the area. It's called the " Texas Twister"

We've been coming there for about the last ten years and i have driven that route many times as well.
Here's my "I wish I had a better camera with me" picture. It's the parking lot at the summit of Mt Washington. What a crazy that drive is in a Corvette.
