How do you temp disable TPMs on 2002 convert
How do you disable the TPMs ?? I now have a set of rims with autocross tires and no TPMS, and a set of runflats for DD with TPMs. Can I, or how do I, or do I need to, disable the TPMs for the weekend when I am autocrossing ??

You can't. You just have to push the reset button every time you start the car and it tells you to "service tire monitor system". not a big deal.

Yeah, I meant different.
It's pretty difficult to get a new pic of Frank.

I never knew until recently that Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water"
was about Frank and the Mother's concert in Switzerland.

Correct, Someone lit a flare and the casino caught fire. And the smoke drifted onto the lake, Hence "Smoke On The Water".

Competition mode is Active Handling ON and Traction Control OFF. If you want Active Handling off - then both have to be turned off. The system defaults to ON for both each time the car is restarted - so if you shut it off and then restart the car both will be ON.
There is a device called Trac-Mem which will remember the last setting.

You can, but the OP wants to run non TPM wheels for autocross and TPM wheels for daily driving.

It's cheaper and faster just to hit the reset button when the message appears. No harm , no fowl.
