Just returned from a 700 mile round trip to Las Vegas. Temps along the way were high 90's to 112 degrees. Our 2000 preformed flawlessly, averaging 28 mpg at a 70++ mph average. The inerior temp was a comfortable 72 degrees the entire trip and the temp gauge was always in the normal range even up some fairly long 4-5 % grades on I 15.
Very comfortable thruout the entire trip. To have this kind of performance and comfort is impressive.

C5's are a great car to take a road trip in.

I'm finding this as well with mine. I was averaging about 27mpg and was very impressed with that for the power it has.

Temps, MPG and comfort. If you think that's impressive, wait till you floor it!
