Looked for a black one at first. I found a great deal on my TR '02Z and still love it 2.5 years later. If I could have any color on it, I would have to say Nassau Blue. I know they didn't offer it on the Z06, but those Nassau Blue FRCs look awesome.

I would have to agree with you on the Nassau Blue!! I love the color too! I almost bought a TR with black wheels but there were signs where a monster tach had been mounted on a metal bracket that was still there and the salesman kept talking about how fast the car was and that was enough hints for me to know that it's been driven pretty hard, and other than a Borla exhaust I didn't see any real mods, so kinda makes me think they swapped everything back out before it was traded in so I kinda passed on that one, then that's when I ran across this silver one! Much cleaner, very stock, lower miles, and a lot cheaper lol! And I'll admit so far the silver doesn't show a hint of dust! Gotta love that!

I set out for Millinium Yellow.. Still love it.. I opted for the Electron Blue instead and I'm very happy with it.. I really like the Speedway White too.. to bad they only had it in 2001.. My 99 was Black.. Black is awesome when its all cleaned up, but it shows flaws and is a pain in the *** to keep clean, even in a garage with a car cover on it. Plus its hot as hell in the summer.. All the Vette colors are really nice.. Something for everyone.. I saw a Puke green BMW M3 the other day.. What an aweful color on a nice car.. How could BMW even offer such a color?? You can take another 20% off the resale value of that car.. Oh well,, Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

Doesn't show it to other people, but you know its there.

My wife looks as me like I'm mad sometimes, because I'm out with the detail spray and microfiber. She says, "the car is clean what are you doing?".

Some people...........

WOW!!! I'm not the only one whose wife thinks that they have OCD? I'm constantly wiping one of our cars or the kids. My neighbor also teases me and says he is surprised that any of them still have paint.

I know I'm going to be on a long s--t list here, but in my quest for a Corvette I paraphrased Henry Fords original color choice: "Any color other than blue".

I know full well how black is both a nightmare and a blessing. Sure wish I had a garage!

You gotta get what you like. My attitude was "Any color but black." Not that I think black is ugly, I just don't want to deal with it. Yellow was my top choice with blue in close second.

I understand. My list was yellow, silver, black, but the best car was the overwhelming priority.

I've owned an 02 Electron Blue Z, 02 silver Z, and now I have an 04 black Z. Without a doubt, the black is my favorite. In my opinion, the lines of a Z06 are best seen in black.

When I set out to buy a Z it had to be TR or MY. There was absolutly no way I was buying black. I test drove several Z's and on a whim I stoped and looked at a black one drove it then bought it on the spot. Low mileage 04 babied black beuty. Not worried about keeping it clean because I'm **** about that anyhow (wipe it down before and after each drive). But the question as to if I could choose any color, if you've ever seen the C5 version of Nassau Blue, its the best color ever on a vette IMO. Would love to see NB with the ZO6 badging on the fenders.
