Default Hmm...Car has problems with Memory remembering...

Anyone else have issues with Memory?

I set my Seat and Mirror preferences....works fine for a few days, then it doesn't remember to move the Mirrors. I put them where I want them, save it, and it'll be fine for a few days then poof!

Weird?

I sometimes have the same problem. It'll either be the seat or the mirrors that isn't set correctly.

No codes.

If battery voltage is dipping too low in between ignition cycles it could probably cause this problem... just a guess.

I had this little bug happen a few times in the first few weeks I got mine last month. I reset position 1 to my preferences as stated in the manual and more times than not when I put the key in, it would go to some other setting. I corrected this by making memory positions 1 and 2 the same. Since then, no problem. Give it a try and see if it works for you.

Battery looks like original but is probably a replacement. Looks in great shape. (when I got it home I topped off each cell) If it was getting low V, I'd be real worried about the Column Lock!!!

Surely, you own a Vette and have installed a column lock bypass, right?

Understood. But the CLB is simultaneously one of the cheapest and easiest to install mods for our car, and it can potentially save you from a big hassle. Make sure it's high up on your list.

Skipshift eliminator is another of the cheap/easy variety, but you need to get underneath the car to install it.

Okayyyyy... Just make sure you come back here and post up how much you spent on a tow to the dealer and dealer labor to fix your stranded car. Then we will post our receipts for the simple CLB.

Yeah, Yeah...I know. Reason I made sure the Battery was up to snuff. AAA too, you learn after owning a old M3....

Occassionally my seat will do that if I turn the car off, and back on in a short period of time. I also set my one and two fobs to the same setting so there is no "computer confusion" to deal with.
