A little help please
This morning one of my head lamps would not come up, the head light was on but would not open. Hopefully it a quick fix, can anyone tell me where to start to solve this issue.

The gears in the motor are out in it. There is a fix for it are buy a new one. Look at doing a search on it. Some good write ups on the subject..ROCKnROLL has a little on the motor now just a little down on the first page here. Says he got new gears for 13.00 at part store like auto zone...

Most likely what was said already, but did you try turning them off and turning them back on. Mine did the same thing once and that is what I did and it opened properly.

A friend had the issue of one headlight on but not up, I told him it might be the gear, When I got there the first thing I did was check the motor connection and guess what? That all it was in his case, A bad connection. He didn't get any grinding noise.

Do you have HIDs? Sometimes mine won't come on the first time I turn the switch on. I haven't only had one stay down though. They either both come up or both stay down.
