C5 Exhaust Sounds
If this has been done before please forgive me. I searched and didn't find a thread like this...
I've seen a lot of threads with requests for opinions and sound clips for exhaust sounds and I was thinking it would be a good idea to consolidate a bunch of sound clips into one thread. I know sound clips are nothing like hearing an exhaust in person, but at least it'd be a place to start.
If you're going to post a clip I'd humbly ask that you include the following information about your setup:
Year and Model
Heads
Cam (Brand, duration, LSA)
Intake Manifold
Headers and brand (and whether they're catted or not)
H-Pipe or X-Pipe and brand
Cat-back brand and model
If it's tuned post who did it
If you have cutouts post the brand and install location
Any other power-adder mods

EDIT: I don’t have my better exhaust clip uploaded to photobucket like I thought I did so I’ll post it later when I get home. This one is right after a Sea-Foam treatment so… enjoy the smoke show
I LOVE the Stingers. They DO drone a little bit right around 60mph in 6th, but I seldom cruise around there and it isn’t enough to bother me. I listened to a lot of exhausts before I went after the stingers and, IMHO, the muscle-car sound they give it can’t be beat. This is the way it should’ve come from the factory…
