P/N for shift boot plastic piece?
Anyone know if you can order the plastic part that the shift boot gets stapled into? If so what is that part number? Mine broke in a few pieces and I have a new 2 tone shift boot that I would like to install. Thanks

Incorrect. It's been discussed often in C5 Tech. You do have to buy a new oem boot to get the oem plastic ring. You might get lucky finding a used boot with an intact ring.
Or, there is a vendor on EBAY that sells a replacement stainless steel retaining ring, but it's not inexpensive...
