That thing sounds like it should keep you entertained. I am going to have to start saving for a bigger motor now.

Is this an iron block, or ......? If it is the iron block, what is the weight difference from the LS1 motor. Thanks.

The #'s are in!

Max power: 535.9 HP @5950 RPM
Max Torque: 544.6 ft-lbs. @4500 RPM

The tuner and I were both surprised to see the torque numbers higher than the HP. A good surprise I might add.

The car accelerates at an incredible rate has great street manners with little to no surging. We still have to fine tune the idle, the 102mm throttle body and a huge cam make it difficult. It looks like i can say "good bye" to fuel mileage. I expected it so its no surprise but it sure will be missed.

Overall I am highly pleased with the build and the outcome. The driving experience takes on another dimension with that kind of power on tap.

It is the iron block and from what I have seen others say who have weighed them it's 70lbs heavier.

Hello Ten's. Break that bad boy in then take it to the track. That should be a very fast car. I think there will be a lot of shocked C6 Z06's when you come up on them.

Those numbers are really awesome -

Imagine a set of Turbo's on there and what the TQ numbers would be and at maybe 8 PSI of SAFE Boost too!

Thanks,Matt

Don't mind that clanking sound in Norman, OK. Just me throwing rocks at my underpowered C5.

Awesome!

^ My garage is about 50ft from my neighbors bedroom wall so when I am taking home a date at midnight during the week im sure they have said a few choice words about me and the car. The H/C Ls6 was bad but this 408 is down right nasty sounding.

I used Lane Culver in Huntsville, AL. Hes about 90 minutes from me and does great work. There is another tuner here in Nashville that i normally use however he was out of town when i needed it done.
