I've had the service engine soon on the DIC for a couple days now, but I haven't observed anything out of the ordinary, and no codes are being thrown. However, the front tire pressure monitor doesn't seem to be working. Is this something that would make the service engine message show up? Please and thanks.
Tire sensor going bad will give you a "service tire monitoring system" message every time you start the car, but will not cause a CEL.
You must have a code if you have a CEL. Are you pulling the codes through the DIC or a hand held ? some hand held units will not pull GM specific codes.

In order for the SES light to be on there "MUST" be a code -
Do you know how to check for the codes from the DIC?
I guess I didn't wait for them to cycle through all the way... Heres what I got -
28 TCS - C1221, C1222, C1225, C1278, C1278, C1281, C1286
40 BCM - B0432
A0-IDCM - B2282, B2284, U1064
A1-RDCM - B2283, B2285, U1064
All of them were history codes, but they still really concern me... This seems like quite a few codes. I looked on the link from 8VETTE7 (Thanks, btw) and a lot of them seem to have to do with the BCM, which concerns me even more. Advice, please?

I have to say the C5 has a lot of gliches in the electronics, What I would do at this point seeing that they are all History is clear them and drive the car and see if they come back, I have had issues with some codes in the past after driving in some really heavy rain, I cleared them and they have never came back, It is when you get the "C" codes that you need to worry.

Sounds like you might have a ground issue. It is also very possible you are having a battery issue. Check out the codes and what they are. I see some battery fault codes in your list.

Here is how to get the codes and clear them, Very simple.
Mr.Bill
Turn the key to the ON position, but don't start the engine. Clear any present messages by pressing the RESET button. Hold the OPTIONS button down, and press the FUEL button 4 times. This will get you into the CODES section of the DIC. The computer will automatically display all the codes your car has created. It will cycle through each code every 3 seconds. Any code that ends in H is a history code (something that has occured in the past) but is fine now. Once the computer has finished going through all of it's codes, press RESET to enter Manual Configuration mode. It should start with a module and show "NO CODES" or "# CODES".
To optionally reset the codes once in manual mode, press and hold RESET until it displays "NO CODES". Press OPTIONS to go to the next module. Repeat the steps in this paragraph until you have reset the codes in all the computer modules. NOTE !! Only reset the codes IF you want to - it is NOT necessary to do this.
