I love to listen to this while I drive the Vette or my Ram. Oh yeah, this is the latest music that is out for my weird type of music I listen to lol, and I am 28.
This music is sex to my ears!
The beat on this next video is insane to say the least.

I'm only 64. I have CCR in my player right now. In console waiting their turn are The Beatles, ACDC, Don Henley, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, etc.
Update: I just got back from driving my grandson to his other grannie's place which is about an hour one way. Since this was the longest run I've taken the Vette in over a year I enjoyed the music of the engine and exhaust system just as much as my stereo. The Vette plays beautiful music no matter your taste in sound.
Hard stuff on the way to a gym, fight (mma) or any other athletic activity. i.e. Disturbed, Tracenine, Bullet for my Valentine, Tech N9NE, Skillet, Iron Maiden, etc.
For just cruisin I like newer country, newer rock, some classic rock, and a little alternative.
OK, I'll play. 59 years young, I have an iTouch 64gb with a ton of music on it, Things like Doors, Led Zep, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Thin Lizzy, Ozzy, Areosmith, Rolling Stones, Rush, Black Oak Arkansas, Golden Earing, Van Morrison, Metalica, The Who, Santana, Styx, The Police, Traffic, Tesla, ZZ Top, Van Halen, Journey, Rush, Alice Cooper, ACDC, Beatles, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, CSN&Y, Def Leppard, The Fixx, Duran Duran, Fleetwod Mac, Grand Funk Railroad, Guns and Roses, Joe Walsh, Jethro Tull, Kansas, Meatloaf, Phil Collins, Queen and the list goes on...lol Mr.Bill
I cant find Mr. Zappa in your extensive list- that's just wrong
I'm 25. If I'm with my wife cruisin we listen to a mix of kings of leon, death cab, dashboard confessional, and angels and airwaves. If I'm by myself I'll go with misery signals, August burns red, from a second story window, emmure, suicide silence, as blood runs black, through the eyes of the dead, or something like that. On the way home from work though I listen to 97.1 the fan unless they're talking about osu.
I'm 28 and I usually like to listen to my exhaust playing for the most part, but when I turn the radio on or put in a CD I'll listen to; Pop Evil, Kid Rock, Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Staind, Buckcherry, God Smack, My Darkest Days, etc....

I'm 28. Ths is pretty much my list for certain days. Other days I listen to Jazz, Hip-hop and Alternative. For the most part I listen to classic rock. I wasn't alive during that era, but I think the music is far better than the crap that gets pumped out in masses today.
And here's something to get stuck in your head:

Outside of Rush, pretty much all classic, prog and alternative rock. Looking forward to the new Chickenfoot CD that's coming out in the next few weeks. They already have a pretty good, driving-themed lead single called "Big Foot" - Sammy Hagar has his "I Can't Drive 55" vocals working in high gear!
Rush is one of the best bands ever. I obviously prefer their earlier stuff. BTW, if you are really into Prog, check out the new Opeth CD. It is being streamed on NPR for free right now. They are my favorite band ever, but some of their music is insanely heavy. Their new album is more pure Prog, and not heavy. I will be seeing them live next month at the Warfield for about the 20th time...
Don't you hate DJs who post their playlists when asked this question? Ha ha! Just kidding, and to top that off, I AM a DJ!
At 56, I looked at your list and it looks pretty much what I would choose. Great selections!
.
You wouldn't believe how long it took to put that list together. Copy/paste/delete /copy/paste/delete
Oh I forgot AC/DC, POCO, Aerosmith, BTO, Bad Company
I don't have any Rush either. No offense to those who like rush, but I find their music to all sound the same. However I do really like a few of their songs.
So I guess I'm off to download a few Rush selections I do like.
