I am looking to purchase a 50th ANV Convt from Lee Chrysler Dodge in Ft Walton Beach Florida. The dealer is located on 541 Mary Esther cutoff. I have obtained some images of the vehicle and was informed it was not clean, so to look past the dirt. When I see the engine compartment I see YEARS OF NEGLECT, not a couple of months of dirt. I am concerned with the total neglect of the engine compartment and the undercarriage (RUST) coming from the coast... Can anyone please take a peek and let me know your opinion. Go on w/the purchase or walk away...Harry (512-592-1402) In Austin Texas
Unless it is dirt cheap(no pun intended) I would find another. I worked on a car from that area years ago which had surface rust underneath but looked good and body fine....when I went to replace muffler and a bumper bolts were hell to get off, bottom line....find another since you already express concern about the car...got to be many here in Texas for you. good luck.
