Well, a couple thousand have watched the Armor All Butter Smooth video, so what are the opinions??? Should I buy it and use it on the Vette or maybe just the other family cars??? In the past I have read alot of negatives about Armor All and since stayed away from their products. Has anyone tried it?
I have no opinion but what I find funny is they are using the product on cars that already have a flawless finish.....so no idea how it works on real cars.
When ever you ask about what type of car care products to use be it here in the general section or the car care section you will get all sorts of different opinions. As you are aware, most if not all Corvette owners are loyal to a specific brand. Me, I have been a loyal user of Adams and nothing else. If you are wanting to try something new then go for it. Even if it is on your Vette.
Just make sure you start with a clean wax free surface. Get all of your old product off than apply the new product and see how it goes on, and how long it last, does it do what you want.
I have some, and have used it on my torch red coupe. It does go on really nice, but I'm not sure I liked how it came off. I found you could almost see where it was applied in some areas, but in other areas it seemed ok. I have used it a few times on my wife's white Honda, and with that it works great, on and off easily. Beads water well, and seems to last decent.
Maybe it's not a perfect match for some of the darker colors? If you do try it, I would suggest a small area done in good light to see if you can see any irregularities and have lots of polishing cloths available.

Last time I waxed my C5 I used Turtle Wax Ice - mainly because it advertised no white residue and with all the graphics on my car, that was important to me. Turns out they were right and so far (5 months later), the wax is holding up very well and gave a great shine.

I am sorry, But I don't click on the threads that are being forced on us, It is bad enough all the other ads on the top and bottom of each page, Now we have them in the threads. There are a lot of members that make this site what it is, But greed is taking it's toll on me..

Ding ding ding, I try to add them to my ignore list. Nothing more annoying than 5 threads being instantly bumped by some "vendor"
If you don't prepare the surface properly, waxing is a waste of time. So to prepare the painted surface first you will be using other products, so why would you want to use a different product to finish the job?
I also agree with Mr. Bill and I have posted my feelings on this exact same issue as Mr. Bill, but Never heard back. I realize that it takes the vendors to keep this site going, but with everyone of the vendors that post, we have the ability to reply and ask questions. These ads do not do that. I would love to ask Armor All a few questions.
