How's the turn out for street vibrations?

 

It is wall to wall Harleys. Nice weather here, Record days, It was in the high 90s today.
So many beatuiful bikes to check out.

i'm coming over tomorrow - bringing Virginia & 3 of the kids - I go every year - the paint just keeps getting better & better - I have a guy who wants to do a trade out with me - he's a custom painter in Sacramento - he wants some engraving done - I ride a BMW RT - I like the stock paint - I might go ahead & do the work for him & just get a credit - Might have my truck custom painted one of these days?
I think it was 4 years ago I hit snow on the pass comming home -

Nugget evacuated after shots fired inside casino.

1:23 a.m.: Many of the men at the site in handcuffs wore clothing with the word "Vagos," an outlaw motorcycle club identified by the FBI and the ATF.

Witnesses are hesitating to provide identification and some do not want to enter the parking garage on the Northeast side of the building without a police escort.
12:58 a.m. Saturday: John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks is currently in lockdown after a shooting was reported late Friday night.

One witness reported that two people were shot. Another reported she saw a person laying on the casino floor. Police have not confirmed injuries.

"There were guys walking around, then we heard five or six gunshots, then 10 or 12 more rang out," said a male witness who declined to give his name. "Then we hid under tables."
12:37 a.m. Saturday: Unconfirmed reports are that a fight among Street Vibrations participants started on the dance floor at Trader Dick’s inside John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks.
The fight spilled out to the casino floor and shots were fired, according to multiple witnesses.
Guests hid under tables and behind counters before hotel security rushed them to the exits.

A witness, Claudia, who declined to give her last name, said, “All the biker guys just started fighting, and you hear like 20 gun shots. You look, and everyone has guns on their backs.”

People inside the casino were being ushered to their cars in the parking garage. Police from Reno, Sparks and Washoe County are on the scene.

There are no confirmed injuries.
12:15 a.m. Saturday: The John Ascuaga’s Nugget in Sparks was evacuated late Friday after shots were fired inside the casino.
Sparks and Reno police, as well as fire, ambulance and REMSA crews, are on the scene. There are no reports yet of injuries.
Guests at the hotel-casino are standing outside, on the roof of the parking garage to the east of the property, waiting to be let back in.

The Vagos Motorcycle Club, also known as the Green Nation, is a one-percenter motorcycle gang and organized crime syndicate that was formed in the 1960s in the small unincorporated community of Temescal Valley, which is south of Corona, California. The gang originally was called "the Psychos".[1] The club's insignia is Loki, the Norse god of mischief, riding a motorcycle and members commonly wear green.[

 

Hmmm! Sounds like a great place to stay away from.

 

Boyz will be Boyz - The Vagos Motorcycle Club has been around for a long time - The 1%'ers get drunked up and snit happens - this isn't the first time - Happens at Sturgis every year - Seems like every year the different 1% MC clubs take turns who is going to show their a$$ -

Not long after the sun goes down I normally head to my room & watch re-runs of Opra

We will get there around noon today and Virginia will hit the slots & i'll hit Virginia street with the kids & do some shopping - we will be out of town buy 6:30 or 7

I have been to the Laughlin River Run and Sturgis twice but my father-in law is going to Street Vibrations this year. It is an annual thing for him since he lives just over the border in Ca.

 

As always - lots of beautiful bikes at Street Vibrations – This builder – I didn’t get their name – but these guys built some really over the top stuff – They had 5 or 6 bikes there – all were awesome – Here’s one example

 

Its a shame that a few a-holes can muck it up for everyone else..what a waste!

On Virginia street (the strip) BMW had a 18 wheeler with 40' trailer and a very large tent set up the corner - There was about a dozen Reno police officers on the corner - On the other corner across the street was 12 or 25 Hells Angles hanging out - The angles were just showing their butts, acting up - but with that many angles in one spot the cops couldn't leave either - I don't know how long they staired at each other I didn't hang around to find out.

 

Nor would I, a Mexican face off, nobody wins !!
