Shar - might want to post this up in the C5 Parts for Sale section and make it a wanted to buy (WTB) post. You could also try the forum used parts vendors (Corvette Recycling, Vettenuts, etc.).
I think Marc @ Vettenuts was parting out a '98 not too long ago. Might be worth a PM to see if he has what you are looking for.

Anyone know if an '03 Z06 airbox will fit?
I was planning on swapping over to a Vararam and would be willing to let you borrow this to pass your smog.
Maybe we can do the swap out on the next mod day.

I'm in Concord California, I have a stock 1999 Air Box, but I also know of a "TEST ONLY" place IN concord that will over look what you have.... By the way, what do you have...
PS : You are welcome to use my stock one for passing the SMOG TEST, if that is why you need it... I don't want to part because if I sell my C5 I always give all stock stuff to the new owner... Let me know here..

thanks for the info.... as a last resort if i need to travel to concord I will. thanks also for loaning your part but i've been offered a few from the sacramento area. all you vette guys are super great... it's nice to know that you have my back.

The Z06 airboxes will bolt right up to the C5...
Post a WTB ad in the parts for sale section. Vettenuts and corvette recycling are good sources for used parts. You can also try fleabay...

Hello Shar, no problem, understand, just let me know here and it is yours to use as a last ditch. Like I said, if you need a smog "Test Only" I know of a place in concord, on Willow Pass Road, that will over look any aftermarket air box, Mine just passed last year with a dual K&N snorkel, he over looked that as well as my "Oil Catch Can", flying colors better than stock.. This forum does rock, good guys/gals, great vette owners and fantastic support what ever the question. Good luck.
