RFA Issue..........
RFA is doing all kinds of weird antics (locking & unlocking at will, etc.) on my 99 coupe...... replaced the battery in the fob with no joy. When standing directly next to the car, with the passive switch on, it activates without ever moving away. Sometimes opening an unlocked door causes the panic alarm to activate....... Any guesses

Slide the passive switch off and on several times rapidly. Then try again. If it fixes it, even temporarily, you know the problem is in the contacts of the slide switch being dirty or corroded. You can clean them or replace the fob. It can stay on when positioned off if that's the case.

Thanks 65GGvert! Doesn't fix the problem, so I'm off to the stealership.......... I have a very good GM guy that I use, but he just couldn't seem to solve this one......
