Default need your opinion

Hi guys, Could you give me your opinion on what would be a good price on high mileage 101k miles. 98 c5 6-speed coupe. Assuming everything works and the car has clear title I don't need blue book value, I need what they vettes like this go for now, with the market being the way it is.
Thanks

If the car is in good shape and well maintained I would think 10k.

Check out this link http://www.corvettewarehouse.com/vehicles

A few early C5s with well over 100K miles and still asking over $10K firm.

I'd want to see the maintenance history on the vehicle, and I wouldn't touch it if was more than a two owner vehicle. If it has been properly maintained, has good tires, a new battery it's a $10 to $11K vehicle tops.

I can run you some NADA price figures if you have the VIN.

$10K-11K might be a little low, but not by much. Would really depend on what shape the car is in both appearance wise and mechanically.

plus geographic location would also play a bit of a part in it. cold weather area where someone doesn't want to have to store it for the winter, etc i would think it owuld be cheaper than a so cal/arizona or south florida car where winterizing means being able to run with the convertible top down all the time, lol. assuming everything checks out and it isn't a many owner car (as previously noted), i would think the "asking" price should be around 13k to start. what the seller accepts all depends on how badly he really wants to sell the car.

It really depends on how the car has been taken care of. It could be a solid 13k car depending on how its been stored and maintained.

I'm definitely leaning toward the $10K range in good condition. With 2012 fast approaching and over 100K miles, I don't see low teens. That's from a market, not enthusiast, intrinsic value perspective.
