Default cray wheels

Need help, does anyone have an opinion on cray wheels. I am looking
at cray manta chrome for my 2003 coupe. Any advice or pictures would
be appreciated. Also, are my stock wheels worth anything or does it make sense to keep them. Would the car be worth more or less with
the cray wheels.

Thanks i am new to c5, just moved up from c4

My understanding is that they are considerably heavier than your OEM wheels. If this is important to you (it is for me), than I would pass. Looks are obviously subjective. I think the OEMs look great; it is unfortunate that they are susceptible to cracking (although from an actual percentage standpoint I don't know how big an issue this is - but like the pundits always say, it doesn't matter if it's one in a million, if you are that one!).

Your stock wheels are worth a few hundred bucks, more for the polished than the painted. I'd keep 'em if the $$ and storage aren't an issue.

I got the Cray's on my car. I like them but I think I might go with something else soon. I have had them a while... so I am looking for a change. I kept my stock wheels and tires

Crays = Street
OEM Z06s = Track

The Crays are good wheels - looks nice on the car and haven't heard of any problems with them. They are heavy as mentioned above.

I've got 18/19 Cray Scorpions on my 2001 Coupe. I don't race it so the weight doesn't bother me. Easy to take care of and I like the way the look. I get lots of compliments on them.

The Scorpions look awesome on your silver coupe Phil.

Like others have stated, they a quite heavy and the reason that I went with a lighter weight forged rim. Most of the repo rims are pretty heavy too.

Default Cray's & Weight

If you weigh your stock set up and then Cray's without run flats it's almost a push. 18's all away around on mine.

Default Cray Wheels

I have black Cray Scorpions (18"/19") on my C5. In my opinion, they look great with the Quicksilver colored coupe.

I have 18 / 19 on my MY vert and there's no question they're heavier. I just took them all off two days ago to clean the barrels, calipers and rotors. Yes, I was bored and had spare time.

When I took the fronts off, I truly couldn't "feel" the extra weight but I could in the back. However, like others have posted, I'm not overly concerned about the 20lbs of combined unsprung weight as I don't track, drag, etc. No way you could tell the difference in day 2 day driving.

For the $ I'm sold on the quality and looks.

And btw, Phils 01 QS coupe looks smooth with the Scorpions and red calipers.

FYI
there is 2 more styles of wheels coming from Cray and TSW in the near future!
I just can not get any more info from them at this point. They will be released at SEMA

RUFF has a new 19/20 wheel coming out as well with correct offsets

Crays are a nice looking wheel, If I was to get some I would have to get different center caps, They look like they have a C4 emblem on them.

I'd be surprised if the run flats/stock wheel combo came close to the weight of the crays.
Had 19" with a 285 nito invo tire and that weighed 64lbs! It's a lot of weight and you can feel it even around town.

Quality and fitment were spot on.

I moved to Tsw nurburgrings, and now I am on ccw sp500,s. I change my mind way too much
