We went for a nice drive to Lake Casitas today. Anne packed a great lunch, and had a great time. Upon leaving the entrance they had one of those tire puncture devices in the ground that you had to pass over. When I drove over it, I could hear it scrape all the way to the back of the car. I do have Elite engineering frame rail protectors but it still scraped up my rockers pretty good. I will never ever drive over those things again. I'm going to have it put on a lift Monday to see if anything else was damaged. Watch out for those things!!!!!!

Mine is lowered also and hate those dam things... Hope it is not to bad for you man. As long as you have no liquid on the ground you much better off for sure.... Robert
Sorry to hear that Neighbor. Lake Casitas is nice this time of year.
Here is a heads up for you, If your ever up in northern SB county, stay away from Waller Park. Same thing happening. Large speed bumps and directional tire puncture hooks.
Waller is one of the nicest parks in Santa Barbara County. It's too bad the park engineers designed a mine field for lowered vetts.
Thanks Raw Z06, I will stay away from Waller Park as well. I may contact my insurance company and see what they have to say. My vette isn't even lowered!!!
Why does a park have to have tire puncture devices?
What's the worst thing that can happen? Someone sneaks into the park without paying and in return you're stranded with four flat tires with no help for miles?
That sucks. Maybe contact whoever is responsible for the park and tell them what happened. I'd press them and see if they'll cover the damages.
I called my insurance company last night. They will cover the damages but I do have a 250 deductable to pay. They said they may contact the park, but often they say it is time consuming and they may not bother. I plan on calling the park today anyway.

Hahahahahahaha! Come on. California is going broke and cannot pay their bills. There's no way they would pony up money unless forced to by a court of law and even if one were to get a judgment actually collecting is another matter.
