The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

GM holds the rights to the reproduction of the word Corvette.
GM also hold the rights to the Font used in the word Corvette.
Most manufactures (if not all) Secure the rights to reproduce the word
Corvette, not the individual letters (each in GM's Font)
Although super expensive, obtaining the rights to sell/produce the
word is reasonable enough if you sell hundreds of sets.
Getting the rights to reproduce each letter would be so expensive
that you would have to sell 10's of thousands just to break even.
I don't know of anyone who legally sells just the letters.
Having said that, CCA has always replaced missing letters (at our cost) for it's customers (at no charge), but we do not sell them individually because CCA and our manufacture do not have have the right to make/sell individual letters in the GM Font. CCA only buys our letters from GM Authorized Manufacturers...

My had car some black ones installed by a previous owner. My first mod to the car was removing the inserts the day I bought it. Stickers and decals and other garbage are tacky add-ons that really cheapen the car's appearance. Everyone knows it is a Corvette, so there is no need for anyone to fill in the god-awful giant recessed logo on the bumper anyway. You don't see Lambo owners tacking all that garbage on to their cars. Try to stay clean and classy. You know those "urban" types who go to Auto Zone and buy every stick-on piece of crap they can afford? Fake fender vents, chrome "GTR" decals, windshield squirter LEDs, etc.? Yeah, installing inserts reminds me of those guys.

Since my C4 had them from the factory I would have to say it is the cheap way they put corvette on the back of the C5, and 91-96 C4s actually.
I'll take "clean":

You can keep "tacky":
