After selling my 02Z , I really miss it . I'm now replacing it with an 04 Z16 .
I love the look and drive of the C5Z.
It feels more like driving a race car than does a C6Z .
I'm keeping my C6Z too
In my opinion the C5 is the best combination of looks / performance in a vette.
I hear you. I traded an '01 Vert for an '07 Coupe. The C6 never did do it for me so last year I traded it for a '10 Challender SRT8 and started looking for a '99 or '00 Nassau Blue FRC. This past April I found a pristine '99 Nassau Blue FRC, one owner with 18K miles on it in Dallas. Bought the same day! Life is great again...

The C6 is faster but the C5 looks much better .
C6's are for sure, slick and quick, but...
Driving a C5 has been an awesome corvette experience.
I certanly agree with you arkus, "Style and Performance"
That's why I (personaly) drive a corvette.

Reason: After Thought :)
If you get a chance to get it into the air high enough, check on the passenger side rear cradle, on the bottom side flat surface beneath the axle. You might find some factory black markings in addition to a date. Mine says 05/28/04, which I am assuming would be (or very close to) the "birth date".
