It seems that the svo 30lb injector is pretty popular here. Considering that the LS6 injector is 28.8 why would the extra 1.2lbs make such a big difference. I have a 00 C5 which has the smaller 24lb injectors so of course I need new ones for a head and cam swap but for a TSP228R and stock unported 243 heads will the 28's be enough or should I go to the 30s?
LS6 injector is 28.8lbs at 3bar. SVO injector is 30lbs at 2bar, which is what the pressure at which the Ford fuel pumps run. When they are plugged into a GM 3bar system, they put out ~34.5lbs.

Aha, that's the part I didnt get. I had thought that all injectors even LS ones were rated at their 43psi rating even though the fuel pressure was higher. So LS 28lb injectors compared to the industry standard are really closer to 23s. Awesome, thanks,
