That power level is achievable with a decent heads/cam setup. Keep in mind that rating is bhp, not rwhp, so it's going to be higher than most of the quoted numbers here.
Mike @ ECS has a heads/cam Z06 that is ~500rwhp, that's pretty close to 600bhp, so easily possible.
There have been some that did the convertable conversion to thier Z06. Not cheap, but very possible. Changing the base seats out for the sports is something may racers do, to get the pass through on thier Z06 for the shoulder harness.
Now, no logos on the tach, who knows? Same with the fog lights.
But what someone wants to do with thier car is up to them.
