And later you will be saying why in the hell did I screw this up like this, car rides and handles like crap can't keep tires or shocks on the car. All to look like some SLAMMED ricer car.
The OP is lowering on stock bolts & bushings.
Thats why GM put threads on them, (To go up or down)
If you were to look at the DVD info kit that GM gives you with the Z06 when new from the factory, they show you lowering the car on stock bolts, front & rear.

Do not let that guy scare you. No harm will be done to your car. Just make sure you get a 4 wheel alignment afterwards.

Why did GM install adjustment bolts from the factory then (and even give instructions) if lowering messes up the suspension geometry and engineering???
