04'Z question during header install
To all viewing your input is greatly appreciated and although a new member I have followed for almost a year after my purchase. And also, along with the car came along a brotherhood that im glad to be apart of.
Ok enough of that! Upon installing a set of kooks headers on my Z I needed to pull the valve covers obviously, can anyone tell me why I do not have yellow valve springs? When purchasing car it only had a set of stingers and that is it! When putting my VR cai I could tell that I was the one breaking her seal. All bolts were tight not scuffed and there wasnt any indication that any mods ever been done. So popping the valve cover off was a total letdown during the install . The valves are normal metal color have the two piece locks and the looks of stock GM retainers. There are no dots or striped colors of any sort on the springs the only color I see is a somewhat oiled orange color on the center rocker arm bolt. They are also single coil and NOT dual beehive style. All input is greatly appreciated and thanks for your time.
