Driving my Corvette in this s***hole of a city is a serious risk to your health it seems that every redneck within view is after me.(and this place Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is full of them) Aggressive, combative jerks will run you off the road at every turn. If you are not driving a dirty jacked up 4x4 you are fair game. I love my Vette but it is getting to the point I will need stress counciling or a .45 cal in order to just go for a coffee in the Vette. Anyone else experiencing this problem or am I just the unfortunate one living in hell? I could write a book on some of my experiences. ...Rob
the same thing would happen a lot to sport bike riders in san antonio when I lived there. Knew of 4 people personally that were run off the road by pickups.
I own a full-size 2500hd crewcab with a mild lift and I wouldn't even think of trying to push someone around with it. As you're sliding off the road, I would be tumbling off the road. Sounds like you are in a ###tty area!!
Seriously ?
I drive in Vancouver all the time, some of the worst drivers I've ever seen............and you being from there, know where they really came from!
Every city is a congested mess, drive to survive!

Either that or they stick right up your a$$, I feel you!

Yes, but at least they're not driving 4X4 pickup trucks!
Raleigh, NC = worst drivers in the world and I've driven a lot of places. I see the most ridiculous things, literally, everday. I can't even explain the stuff I see. From merging in rush hour at 35mph, to slaming on the breaks and coming to a complete stop on the highway because a cop pulled someone over on in the emergency lane, to driving with no cars 300 yards in front of them and constantly braking, and the list goes on.
D.C. ain't too great either. I was driving on the Beltway and observed a car in front of me weaving in and out of his lane on both sides. When I passed him I saw that he was flossing his teeth with both hands, and driving with his elbows while looking in the mirror! All this in heavy traffic moving in excess of 60mph!
Edmonton drivers suck and most of them drive rig rockets (jacked up diesel 4x4s). if they don't want to race the vette, they want to drive over it. I also notice a lot of morons who can't seem to keep thier minivan between the lanes.
Hang in thier Rob, we'll have to put the vettes away for the winter soon enough

You're not kidding. I saw an old lady in a bimmer READING A BOOK while driving down 495 the other day...
Sounds like normal everyday drivers..
Alot of people out there with no common since these days
and since everyone actually believes their area is worse than the next guy's, i'll add in the boston metro area. never lived there, but had occasion to drive the a lot years ago, and they are a class unto themselves. seems like from all these comments that the world's drivers are going to hell in a hand basket and completely forgotten what it means to be courteous and safe on the roads.
Thats why I love living in the country. Long winding roads between work and my house. I live about 35 miles from Dallas and won't dare take the Vette out there anymore.
