Never mind...I just got it and installed it. Very easy and I think it is a very good safety mod to do...gives you much more visibility when stopping. Powerhungry...sent you an email with the link.
Its a ten minute mod. Just take off your license plate frame to gain access to the 4 torx screws. Release the drivers side reverse light from the mounting ( by turning, do not disconnect the wires) and reach up and disconnect the 3rd brake light. Plug in the new harness to the brake light and plug the OEM harness in to the new one. Make your adjustments (duration and speed of the flasher) turning the 2 screws and replace everything. Its a great safety mod and very easy
Thanks, and btw, I'm glad that rim of yours didn't get damaged. It scared the heck outta me, and I wasn't even there. Gotta get one of those flasher guys...
I would have responded earlier, but I just saw the thread. I installed this mod a few weeks ago. As you know it is a very easy installation. I like it a lot and with the black outs on the tail lights it provides that extra measure of attention getting. I'm thinking about ordering one for my other car as well.
