Plant Closing
I had heard from Kerbeck Chevrolet thet the Bowling Green plant was closing from the end of December to the End of February. Does anyone have any knwledge about this or heard the same thing? Seems unusually long to me! That would reuce the number of 2012's procuced by about 5000!

Plant closing
Thanks for the update! Do you then suspect that the C-7 will be a 2013 introduction? Anthony

Good to know about the closing. Will be interesting to see what they come up with for the C7.

Let's hope the C7 is something more inventive than just a C5.5.5.

I hope it has a fuel injected 327, a bolt on hardtop, roll up windows and a solid rear axle.
And most of all - a slave cylinder mounted outside the bellhousing.

I thought I was the only one who still desires roll up windows.

I hear it will have a battery pack twice as big as the Volt and will get over 33mpg on vegetable oil!

If he's involved it just means it will be a car you pay for and someone else gets to drive it.

Latest I have heard is that it will be a small v8 with turbos in the base models, but the Z06 and ZR1 will be LS7 and LS9. Sounds more European on the base models, but it will help them meet emissions laws, I guess.
