Funfest winners 2011...
Wow, My wife, Anita & her C5 are the first post on Mid America Motorworks' Funfest Winners page. Her car was a "Chief's Choice" on Friday.
She was ecstatic about having her car chosen by Ken Lingenfelter as a Celebrity Choice, but when Mike Yager picked her car as his choice...well, it was kind if a big deal for her.

It occurred to me, after my original post, that some background may be helpful.
Anita is a 12 year Breast Cancer Survivor, and a few years ago, I made a winter project out of her '01. This included a total retrofit of the interior, under hood, and exterior areas to "Breast Cancer Survivors' tribute" theme. For more pictures go to 'my garage' in my avatar and look under 2001 Corvette.
Mike Yager knows Anita (and her car, along with the message it conveys), and, like many has had family members affected by Breast Cancer. This is why (in his words) he chose her Corvette for the first-ever "Chief's Choice" award at Funfest.
