Rear Partition
My Z has a partition between the cabin and trunk. Is that removable? Seems like there is some velcro on the bottom. It also has an oval plastic 'window' about 10" wide, I have no idea what it's for...cant see it from the trunk side.

Yes, it should just pull right out. It's an aftermarket part.

Any 'tricks' or tips to avoid breaking something?

Open the trunk and start pushing it toward the front seats from the bottom of the partition. Once you get the bottom moving forward, you will be able to push top side forward on the driver side and then just pull it out through the door

Remove the velcro and pull it out through the passenger compartment.
However, the partition makes a HUGE difference in the amount of noise coming from the rear. It also makes the stereo sound better and the A/C work faster.

A partition is a must for the FRC ... huge noise reduction. I've had 'em in both my cars.

WHOAAA Boys!!! I only want to remove it to fix that plastic panel. P/O must have tried to wipe it with a solvent that smeared the plastic surface.
