Default coolant temp thread sealer
Im putting 243 heads on my LS1. When I change over the coolant sensor is there any thead sealant that is better than anything else. I know when i rebuilt my 454, the C3 section preached to not use teflon tape cause it would mess with the sensor ground so I was wondering if there was a preferred product for the LS1 sensors?

I've just always used teflon tape or paste. It doesn't take much to seal the threads. Try some RTV if you feel strongly about not using teflon.
