alignment after raising?

alignment after raising?
Im going to raise my car up about 3/4" from where its at now. Do I need an alignment?

some will say yes, some will say wait and see (look for tire wear). It's up to you. In my case, my latest set of tires and wheels are fine even after lowering the car a lot when I installed the LG coilovers...about 2000 miles ago.
Of course, it can't hurt to align it, but is it entirely necessary depends on many factors including how you drive.

I would think that anytime you change the ride hight either up or down you would.

3/4 is probably small enough of a change that it wouldn't be necessary but the chance of your tires getting chewed up over time the alignment is still cheap insurance.

I agree, 3/4 of an inch will change things for sure.

An alignment is cheaper than replacing the tires prematurely, so YES! Good insurance.

I wouldn't, there's negative camber in the front and rear anyway, if straight line traction is what you're after. it's a win win situation.

I would get it done - no use taking the chance on wearing out the tires too fast.

yup, just keep an eye on the tires...they will let you know if you need it...some shops will screw up an alignment...something to keep in mind.
