I'm a proud owner of two corvettes. A 1998 and a 1986. I've found that I can't possibly drive both at the same time, but I want to be able to drive whichever one I want. Up until now I've been paying for full coverage for both from State Farm and my cracker jack agent seems to think that's the only way to do it. I have to add that I'm the only driver for both cars. I was wondering if anybody out there knows of a insurance company that can give me a reasonable rate to insure both and be able to drive either one or the other when I want to.

See if you can get a policy on both cars where the annual mileage is set at a certain amount. I'd want full coverage on each car, but by limiting the mileage on each, you should be able to get a reduced rate.
I just moved to Farmers, from State Farm. Saved a ton of money. I have 6 cars, 3 drivers, and one is a 20 year old girl.. (ouch). But still, she can drive anything, and it's still very reasonable.
I have mine with Grundy, $335.00 a year full coverage, and I have two tickets still on record. They even cover the mods. If you have a classic/specialty car with them, they'll insure your daily driver for cheap too.
get rid of that agent - I have state farm as well. I dont have 2 vettes but I do get whats called a multi car discount (1 vette, 2 cars and a gsxr1000). I dont see any reason why this should not be applicable to your policy. Ive been with sf for several years now, and have tried unsuccessfully to beat their rates...
Good Lord im paying $850 full coverage and thats with no accidents or tickets in last 5 years. Im going to have to give these people a call !

i have hagerty for my two old cars.
for my 72 corvette and 68 mustang i pay 400 a year. unlimited mileage.
the only stipulation is that i cannot drive them to work. it has to be classified as pleasure driving. comes with towing, theft, fire, etc. it also comes with 10K in tool theft coverage for the garage and and 5K in spare parts theft coverage. for my daily drivers i use usaa. full coverage on 3 daily drivers,(my c5, my wifes 07 mustang, and our beater truck) plus home insurance for 200 a month.
Sounds great! I've been paying way too much and that's with a multi-car "discount" plus my house. I live in Michigan and only drive my cars 7 or 8 months a year. I've had no tickets for at least 20 years. I do take em off the road and pay a small fee to keep em in the garage during the winter months, but still it's a lot. I'm gonna do some serious research on this. What a racket! Watching FOX news, boy, these babes have great legs.
