so my Borla Straight's came in today & i got them installed on the car & OMG this thing is LOUD...... going thru the gears it very loud but once your cruising at 70 is not to bad. i can still drowned it out with the Kickers so no biggie on the noise.... plus i have some really good ear plugs....

yea they damn sure are, you sure cant sneak up on anyone with them.... i did notice that they have a drone to them though. probably because they have no back pressure to them at all. so i am thinking about maybe adding some small diameter glasspacks to the H-pipe to add some back pressure & quite it down just a tad. i also have no cats so yea its just straight pipes.

it puts me in mind of my old 73 Mustang that has straight exhaust on it.

yea i had borla straight pipes and shorties when i bought it, sounded good but at idle i hated it cuz it seemed to sound like a diesel truck/garbage truck idling lol. then i did longtubes, catless x-pipe, big cam at 112lsa and why oh why i went with the slp loudmouth i dont know lol. its basically the borla straight pipe with 4 tips. its pointless now to even have a radio in the car but i like scaring older folks and little kids hahaha.

i have the borla straight pipes too, with longtubes, no cats. I love it, lets people know you mean business
