Where is the best place and with the best price to purchase the C5 Corvette Painted SLP Rear Spoiler. I want it painted Mil. Yellow and ready to put on. I found it unpainted for $229 with free shipping. I just think it may be worth another $100 to get it already done. Who sales these painted for us? It's for an 02 Convertible. Send me an e-mail to rbbuddy@***.net or just PM me if you have or know.
Thanks
Dave P.
I suggest you get it unpainted and match the paint yourself at your favorite body shop. RPI sell ones that are painted. I ordered mine from them for $ 388.00 plus shipping, but the color did not match when it arrived 4 weeks later.
I contacted RPI and they blamed it on my car color having faded or yellowed. theirs was a brighter white than mine.
I am going to have to spend more money to have it repainted.
I purchased one from SPL, also, I had to have it painted, I can give you the paint code to have it mixed, My body shop gave me the code.2002 C5 Millennium Yellow Coupe
Now you guys have me scared. You know I called around and got some pretty good quotes on painting it for me. I think I'm going to take your advice and buy the un-painted one. It's $125 cheaper anyways.
Thanks Guys
Dave P.
Received mine painted and looks If the paint on your car is in real good shape it shouldn't be a problem. You can also send them a piece like the gas door and they will match to that.
Been thinking about this again myself. Had one before and loved it. Long story short, It got ripped off.
Anyway, they have one made of fiberglass and the other one is the OEM material. The painted OEM material is $388 and the other is not painted fiberglass for $399. Which one would be the better one to get?
