Question to tall people with Corbeau seats
I'm 6'6", 230lbs with an athletic build. I want to pick up a set of A4's for my 99 FRC, but am concerned about two things.
1. I've read some stories about the driver seat not going back as far as the stock one, so I'm concerned about loss of leg room. Headroom doesn't seems as concerning, because I can order the shaved base option.
2. I have a 36" waist, but my shoulders are fairly broad, so I'm wondering how comfortable I will be in the seat for a longer trip.
If there are any other giants out there that can weight in, that would be great.

I can tell you the width won't be an issue. I have had people far wider sit in my seats and be perfectly comfortable. The giant height thing I can't help you with!
Best mod I have done on my car, bar none.

Been wanting these seats for awhile as well but falling into the same problem. Doesn't seem the height is an issue as you can get the brackets shaved but you may want to be careful about the shoulders. I am 6'6 with a 33 inch waste and was told i would fit fine, however i was told broad shoulders/lats might be a problem, size 52 jacket. Best bet is to find somebody local and test them out. Good luck

I've sat in a set of A4 Wide seats before and fit fine. It looks like most of the width difference is in the base, with only 1.5" less in the shoulder area. Maybe they would be fine. $1k is a lot of money for maybe though.

A4's are too narrow. I'm 6'3 225lbs....32" waist and broad shoulders, and I simply do not fit in those seats. I was hunched forward in the shoulder area - way too uncomfortable. I opted for some C6-Z06 seats.....they're a pretty good upgrade
