So I'm somewhat new to domestics and have an 03 zo6. So far I have an intake stingers and am installing kooks long tubes this weekend. My question is how much difference will a tune make on a bolt ons car and why do I need a tune with no internal change?

Well for 1 the factory usually detunes cars. You are opening up the instake and exhaust so this will make the engine behave different as far as air to exhaust flow and needs to have the air to fuel mixture ratio set correctly. The tune will greatly benefit it, as with you doing headers its obvious you want more power a tune will get you maximum power for your mods. The best $ you can spend imo.

^^^^ This times a million. My baseline dyno run I put down 328whp. With all the bolt ons I was at 369whp. After the tune I was at 381whp. Tune it
the LT's alone will have you throwing lean codes, so the A/F ratio will need to be addressed as mentioned previously.
FYI...LT's + stingers will be F'n loud.
LT's and SLP Loudmouth here. Loud doesn't even describe it. I really hate how loud it is, but once you drop gears and hit 4500 RPM it just screams and sounds like an old F1 car. Completely worth it.
