How old are your TPMS?
Just wondering how much life everyone has gotten out of their tire pressure sensors. I am still on the originals on my '01 with 73k miles, and they are still kicking!

I changed my last year when they died - 2001 130,000 at the time.

I assume that the ones in my 02 are original, I now get a code indicating that my left front is bad. It has 70,000 miles.

Replaced all four original sensors on my 98 C5 when the new Michelin's were installed last November. The old generation C5 sensors (1997-2000) from Tire Rack were $63 each, the new gen sensors (2001-2004) were less expensive, around $40.

Lots of reassuring answers. Looks like I've still got some time left yet on my 10 year old originals!

'02 with original sensors and 34,000 miles. I plan to replace all four when I change tires again, somewhere in the 50,000 mile range.
