I don't know what you mean by title search, but you can search the C5 tech or C5 General forums individually when in that forum or a general search of all forums by using the search at the top center. You may be entering too many words. Leave out unnecessary words. Also, one successful way to search is to use "Google" and then follow the links that come up back to the forum. It is more specific than the forum search. The reason you get some seemingly unrelated threads is that if anyone posts the word "clutch" in their question or reply, the search will find it even if not valid to your question. In my experience it doesn't search the title, but rather the whole thread. There may be an additional title search that I'm not aware of, but I've never used it if there is.
Edit: I do see a keyword search in title only option under advanced search, but again I've never used it.
You have to check the box that says in title only or it will bring up random threads that has the word "clutch" anywhere in the thread. The thread may not even had anything to do with a clutch but someone happen to mention it. Or you have to get really specific. Like for instance the brand name of the part. etc
So sometimes you if you don't check the in title box, you'll get all kinds of threads pop up.
Correction. again, I see what you mean. The title search function must be whacked out. You can report it I suppose.
yeah it normally works and really helps to eliminate useless threads and get right to only what you want. kind of like adding lots of words in a google search to exactly what you want. Limits your results and you can start opening them back out from there if you cant find what you need.
Edit: I do see a keyword search in title only option under advanced search, but again I've never used it.
In 5 years!
I've got to say that I use it all of the time and as 99.99% of things have already been covered on many previous occasions I never find the need to ask any questions at all.

I use search all the time. I just don't use title search. When I search, I search the whole thread. Some members have a hard time putting in the title what they need. Sometimes the title just says "help". That eliminates a lot of helpful threads in a title search.
