Default Spline drive lug nuts

Anybody running this type of lug nut? I have 04 Z06 wheels and currently just have the stock wagon wheel lugs. Any suggestions for a quality set of Chrome lugs?

John, I am not sure what type you are taking about. I have broken some aftermarket Crome nuts on some truck wheels.

It would be odd for your 04z to have wagon wheels. Wagon wheels are the 97-99 wheels. I had spline drive lugs on a car at one point. Never had any issues with them. If I were buying new wheels I would look into them again.

I can't say I've ever seen wagon wheels on a 04z either but my 99 FRC does now have Z06 wheels and my old wagon wheels lug nuts are all that holds them on! I saw the spline drive lug nuts at the auto parts store and it seems like a good idea. However I suspect they are from china and I doubt their quality, both material make up and finish.

I use them "Gorilla" is the brand, on my Weld Evo Forged wheels. Work and look good. No rust and a lifetime warranty.

Thanks, I'll check them out and see if they have some to fit the tapered seat of the Z06 wheel.

These are the lug nuts you are looking for(assuming you want to keep wheel locks):

I run spline-drive lugs on both of my vehicles. McGard on the Z06 and West Coast Accessories on the daily. Of course, I work for a wheel manufacturer and distributor, so I had them in stock.

Yes and no. Thanks for the links and yes they would work but they are not the type of spline drive I have seen on the shelf. They have splines similar to to what you would see on a drive shaft yoke. The locking lugs in your links would do the trick but they look very much the same as the locking lugs that came from the factory on my 95 Impala SS and they became troublesome after repeated use, the lugs wouldn't want to come out of the socket ect.

Checked out the McGard lugs on the Summit Racing site and they look like a quality set.
