That was stater on Monday by Jalopnik. If anyone believe they had access to the GM design studio then they need to see a doctor. First of all Jalopnik sad that they would not post any pictures because they did not want to get the person that got them is to get fires and these renderings were after going over all the sheet metal.
You like that, they went over SHEETMETAL on the new C7.
GM and all their design engineers are way to security wise to have this happen. Just more C7 hype.
That car does look good though, IMO. But who knows what the C7 will look like.
I'm more concerned about how C5 owners are going to take the reality of becoming the next C4
That seems to be more of a concern from what I see.
The C5 has a timeless design and will never be what the C4 is. Hell they are almost 15 years old and still look great. You look at a c4 and your just reminded of the 80's/ early 90 era instantly.

Yep and that's what the C4 guys said as well. The C5 is no more timeless than anything else is. Good looking car but there is a time and place for everything. One day there will be people saying, the C5 looks like 1997. That's when it was designed, in the nineties and they didn't change anything other than HP and colors.
The C3 was a great looking car and still is for a vette, but we wouldn't want one new today.
times change people change and attitudes change. It will always be a good looking vette, but that's all it will be is a good looking vette.
Unless of course the C5 will be the first car in history that remains timeless. Could happen, but I doubt it.
I don't really understand all this timeless talk. I never understood it as a C4 owner and I don't understand it as a C5 owner.
But with that said, I think all vettes are timeless because I'm a car guy and like em all.
Before this gets locked there are about 4 different threads about this now and all of them PAGES long. I can use my repost gif...lol
OMG that picture is HILARIOUS!!!

The only problem with your logic, though, is that the C5 has an LS engine and shares a lot of technology and designs with the C6, whereas the C4 is nothing like the C5. IMO the C4 will remain the C4, and the C5 will remain relevant because it is handcuffed to the C6.
Looks OK,,but needs to loose the Camaro tail lights!! IMO the C5 will always look good,,the C4 will always look dated. While not a hater,,the C4 was the weakest looking design of all the vettes. C5 owners STILL get asked if its a new one by the average drivers that are not vette savvy!!

Well then, how about the C5 is beautiful, and the C4 not so much? And I wouldn't have a problem with a new C7 looking somewhat like a C3. And I was a C4 owner as well.
