I got my Brakemotive pad and rotor set and waiting for chance to install. Will post back my reviews as well.
Got em on today. Very happy so far. No more brake pulse and I think they look great. One question though, I did the bedding process and seemed there was a lot of brake dust. Is this normal, since I've seen many posts on these pads being mostly dust free.
It is rotors, not roters. Put cheap on your Cavalier, not your Corvette. Delco pads and rotors can be had for not much more than your auction site, overseas crap. GM Parts Direct, full set around $300 IIRC.
Hate to disapoint you bro but those AC Delco ones are made in China too. I have a set sitting in my basement right now that I ordered from parts direct. So what does that say for "overseas crap"?
I have them on my 02 Z and put them on a friends 03 Z and are working great...........the next time you take off your Z06 Speedline wheels look at the inside it is stamped Italy and on the inside of the brake rotor its is stamped Brazil sooooooooooo back in 02 GM was not buying in the USA.
But back to the brakes I would reccomend them to anyone .

I HAD the attitude that I would only use AC Delco for any replacement parts for my vettes. BUT I got tired of seeing "made in China" on AC Delco parts. My AC Delco loyalty has faded and I now look for price and quality. I put a set of the Brakmotive rotors and pads on my C5 and they perform as good if not better than AC Delco parts. They look better than AC Delco parts too!
The window regulator needs replacement on the pass side of my C5 and instead of paying $200 for AC Delco I went to ebay and bought one for $80.
I was skeptical but for $180 I thought I would give them a try. Fit, look, and stop fine and easy install. Dealing with the vendor was no problem. No excessive dust with ceramic pads. Many folks do not like ceramic pads but my car is not a DD and I do not track the car and I drive like a old man (most of the time). They fit my needs just fine. Wait a minute, I am a old man.
Well, another vote for Brakemotive rotors and pads. I've had them on my 99 for 3 years with no problems. I was a little surprised when I noticed the Made in China stamp on the warped, cracked GM rotors I tossed.
i only go with brand name parts thru reliable sellers I've used in the past espicaly when it comes to breaks n chase parts. its one area I'm afraid to cut corners on. just my 2 cents with my experience working on a lot of friends cars and lots of customers cars at the shop. there are some areas second rate parts are ok but some i just wouldn't take the chance
Brakemotive is a forum vendor. Do a search and you will find a very long thread about these pads and rotors with many many good reveiws and little if any negative reviews.
Installed a set on my '03 Z a few weeks ago, they're good enough that I bought a set for my parents' car and installed those as well. No, I'm not going to overpay for a brand name.
Getting the best value for your dollar is just capitalism. You won't find any apologies from me for capitalism.
Wish I had seen this before I ordered a set from another forum vendor almost 2 weeks ago, which I must say have not shipped yet. I am tempted to cancel order and go with these. I am not sure I want ceramic pads though, I use my car daily,
